The Party Planning Mommy: Retro Oval Fast Food Baskets

One of the things I hadn’t put much thought into until recently (since we finalized the menu for JD’s party) was, what we're going to serve all the yummy food on. Well, this weekend while taking a stroll with JD and the Garcia Foodies at The Grove and Farmers Market, we stopped by my favorite cooking supply store, Sur La Table and we came across these really cute fast food baskets and the decision was made right then and there! Although I love Sur La Table, the trays were about $1.50 each, which is pricey when you’re having a big party; but one thing I am definitely a pro at, is online shopping and I found them from an online wholesale company for about $0.40 each, needless to say at that price I ordered them on the spot.

I thought this picture was perfect, since sliders are one of the items on the menu for JD’s 1st Birthday Party!

Hey, just wanted to pass along a tip. Don't know if it's too late for you but Sam's Club has them for $3.02 a pk of 12. That's about 25 cents for each. The packs aren't mixed but they sell them in yellow packs as well.

@Jeannette, thanks for the tip, but I already ordered them, they actually came out cheaper because I ordered a lot of them (in different colors), plus I ordered other stuff from them too, so I got free shipping for a larger purchase!
