Dinosaur Birthday Party Invitation

I'm so excited, JD's 3rd birthday and dinosaur birthday party are less then a month away! I don't plan on posting too many party details until after his party (I want to keep an element of surprise), but I did want to share a few photos of the invitations. I love making invitations and feel that they should make the person receiving it feel excited and enthusiastic about attending the party! I started designing the invites a few months ago and once all the supplies came in, they were not only easy but so fun to create. Here's a sneak peek!

Adriana, the invites are awesome! Can I ask where you ordered the boxes from? My son is having a dinosaur themed birthday and I'd be thrilled to be able to re-create these. Thanks!

Hi Jenna,

Thank you! I purchased them at a jewelry supply company in Downtown Los Angeles. Here is their website www.aajewelry.com. I was actually able to pick them up, they also ship but I hear it can be expensive. The boxes are Cotton Filled Kraft Boxes 7" x 5.5"x 1 1/4" (H). Contact me if you have a hard time finding them!

Hello again, Adriana!

I found the kraft boxes! Thank you for that, but have searched high and low for the "fragile" mailing labels and have not been able to find anything remotely close to them (I'm assuming you made them yourself?). Unfortunately, I'm still not hip to designing my own stickers or labels or anything of that sort. Any help is appreciated!

Hi Jenna,

Glad you found the boxes! I actually found the mailing labels online. Here is the link, and they come in different colors too! http://blog.worldlabel.com/2012/vintage-gummed-parcel-post-shipping-labels.html#more-7903
