Baked Spicy Salmon

On Monday I made the mistake of asking the hubby what he wanted for dinner; he requested fish, I'm rarely in the mood for fish. Well, I decided to spice things up a bit, in hopes that I might enjoy a "fish dinner" and to my surprise I did! I guess when you add just the right spices; even fish can be, well less fishy!

Baked Spicy Salmon
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 salmon fillets or steaks, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Place salmon skin down on a baking sheet. Combine olive oil and spices, spread on top of salmon fillets or steaks. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove skin before serving. Enjoy!
