Hi. I'm Adriana, a thirty three year old wife and mother living in beautiful Southern California. Welcome to Quaintly Garcia, formerly known as “and baby makes three...” I started “and baby makes three...” in 2009 a few months after our son Julian was born. I wanted a place to chronicle my family's life, milestones and adventures!
Quaintly Garcia has a little bit of everything: recipes, party planning ideas, travel ideas and bargain shopping. Most recently after buying our first home, I've added home DIY projects and décor. The main subject of this blog however, is our 3 year old son, Julian.
Hubby and I met on a blind date back in 2003, fell in love, were engaged 11 months later, and married in March of 2006. JD came into our life on May 16th 2009 and our lives have never been the same!
Noel is the complete opposite of me, they do say opposites attract! Although our personalities are on completely different planets, we share common ideas, morals and most importantly goals. His military background makes him a little rough around the edges, but he is loving husband and an amazing daddy, a geek at heart, a total smarty pants and a great RN.
I am the only child of a passionate Dominican mother and a creative Argentinian father. They are the most wonderful loving parents and grandparents anyone could ever be blessed with. Southern California has always been the place I call home, but I was actually born in Queens, New York. I work full time at a large medical practice in the South Bay and have been in the medical field for 14 years. I love all things crafty and DIY. I'm a total Foodie and love to cook just as much as I love to eat! I adore photography and admire talented photographers. I adore my family and thank God everyday for blessing me with this wonderful life.
Julian is an amazing little boy. He is curious, smart and impulsive; he is helpful, loving, and even on the worst of days he can make you smile. JD has both of our best and worst qualities condensed into a 3 year old little package. He loves the color blue (this week), going on adventures, pizza, super heroes, robots, dinosaurs and Phineas and Ferb. He dislikes chocolate, waking up in the morning to go to school, and the word “nap” (although he typically takes one).
