Craigslist: IKEA Storage Bench

Have I mentioned how much I love Craigslist! For a couple of weeks now I've been searching high and low for a cute storage bench to place under a window between our dining room and the door that leads out to our back patio (a place to store shoes and JD's random living room toys). Yesterday I finally decided I was just going to build one, but made one last attempt to find a reasonably priced one on Craigslist. I came across a listing for an IKEA storage bench for $25 and although for that price I didn’t think it would be what I was looking for I clicked on the link anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. Needless to say I wound up getting it and I wanted to thank my wonderful daddy for picking it up for me. Now I just need to find some pretty fabric to cover the cushion seat. Isn’t it so cute!

Orange County Fair 2011

On Sunday hubby needed some quiet time to study; so JD, his aunties and myself headed out to the Orange County Fair. The OC Fair is in town until August 14th 2011 and children 5 years of age and younger are free!

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension

The countdown to Phineas and Ferb The Movie has begun at our house! Phineas and Ferb is JD's favorite cartoon and I am not ashamed to admit that our whole family loves watching it too, so when we heard that a Phineas and Ferb movie was being released we were all so excited. Although there is a sneak peek today (On Demand) we plan on waiting until Friday to have a Phineas and Ferb Movie Night! If you plan on having your own movie night, stop by Target. They have tons of cool Phineas and Ferb items in their dollar section!

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension will premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 5 at 8:00pm ET/PT, with a sneak On Demand preview beginning on August 1.
