HomeGoods: Chunky Board Books

By now you all know how much I love HomeGoods and once again they have surprised me with their low prices and great finds. While shopping for something completely unrelated, I came across this set of Chunky Board Books by PK Press and I just had to buy them for JD, he absolutely loves books. These books are sturdy and the ideal size (3 x 3 x 1 inches) for little hands, their also the perfect size for carrying in a diaper bag or purse.

Home Sweet Home Chunky Board Books
Retail: $15-$20
I paid: $5.00

Each set includes three 24-page board books that explore simple concepts for easy teaching. With beautiful illustrations and minimal text, each book creates a charming way to engage a young child in learning about the world. Parents and children will enjoy reading these books together. For ages 0 to 4 years.

more HomeGoods finds...

Yesterday after work I stopped at one of my favorite stores, HomeGoods and found some great buys. My first find was the Infantino Stick and Play, this is so perfect for JD's highchair, because it actually suctions onto the tray (JD throws all his toys on the floor when he is in his highchair), he started playing with it the minute we put it on the tray, it actually kept him entertained for about 20 minutes (that's a long time for JD)!

Infantino Tray Time Buddies
Retail: $12.99
I paid: $7.99

My second find was a bit of a suprise, I have been looking for Thanksgiving themed table linens and wasn't sure if I wanted something fancy, trendy or playful until I came across this pattern:

 Quilted Table Runner
Retail: $ 22.00
I paid: $6.00 (on clearance)

so my whole decor this Thanksgiving will be based on this pattern, which I guess would mean I'm going for the playful theme. Best of all it matches all my pumpkin decorations including my last find:

Chantal Pumpkin Casserole Dish
Retail: $20.00
I paid: $6.00 (on clearance)

still loving Home Goods!

I love HomeGoods...

While on maternity leave I had to find ways to entertain myself and what better way to do that, than to shop (in moderation of course). One of my favorite stores at the moment is HomeGoods, they always have unbelievable deals on pretty pricey items, below are some of my finds:

Bumble Bags Diaper Bag Madeline Lemon Lime Dot
Retail Price $116.00
I paid $18.00 (on clearance)

This is my everyday diaper bag (and yes it's pink but there's some blue and green in there too). I love the stroller straps, it has a bunch of different storage pockets and a diaper changing mat.

Walk On! a guide for babies of all ages by Marla Frazee
Retail price $16.00
I paid $4.99

"Are you tired of sitting around all day? Do you ever wish you could stand on your own two feet? It's time to start walking!
This is a tongue-in-cheek guide to teach babies how to walk. It is such a delightful book (you really need to see the tantrum), I can't wait to read it to JD.
