Prince Lionheart Booster POD

JD is growing up so fast and lately he is convinced that he's a big boy! Whenever we sit at the dining room table JD insists on having his own place setting and now he doesn't even want his tray on his highchair, he wants to eat at the table like everyone else. Last week I received my daily email from the FOUNDRY and they had this really cute Prince Lionheart Booster at an amazingly low price, so after reading all the great reviews I purchased it for JD and it arrived today. I was a little worried that he wouldn't like it (he's a bit picky at times) but he was actually super excited and tested it out immediately!

Candy Tube Favors

I really can't explain why I've been feeling so crafty lately, but I'm just going to enjoy it and get as much done while I can! I really love the idea of candy tubes as party favors and when I ordered JD's plastic soda pop bottles I also decided to order clear tubes and try out a favor design for a friend's party in a few months. I was really amazed at how simply a clear tube, candy, ribbon and a label can turn into a perfectly sweet party favor. So here is my very first candy tube favor design!

TPPM: Kid Friendly Soda Pop Bar

I've come across so many cute ideas for JD's 2nd birthday party but one that I really wanted to try is a Soda Pop Bar! JD isn't allowed to drink soda but he does love to drink sparkling water (which he thinks is soda), so I thought I would start with that and add some naturally flavored syrups to make his very on Soda Pop Bar. Then came the hard part, finding bottles; every soda pop bar I've come across has large glass bottles, not exactly a good idea for a two year old, so I started searching for an alternative and I found one. I found 8oz plastic bottles that fit perfectly and also safely in a toddlers hands and they arrived last Friday! So this weekend I began working on a sample soda pop bottle for JD's birthday party and here it is.
