Quick Stop at Big Lots

Yesterday for lunch I decided to take a little trip to Big Lots. I really wasn’t looking for anything in particular; which most of you know from experience, is a bad way to walk into a store. Well, as always I walked out with three bags and thirty dollars less in my pocket; but I did find a couple useful items and thought some of you would be interested in them, especially at Big Lots very low prices.

lunch suprise...

Today I received such a lovely surprise, the hubby and JD came to my new office to have lunch with me! At my old office this was impossible (my office was located in a secure building and visitors were not welcome) and to make matters worse I only had a half hour lunch. Now I actually get an hour lunch, which is one of the many perks when you work for a doctors office and the campus where my office is located is absolutely gorgeous; so getting a chance to have lunch with my boys, was a real treat!

We recently purchased digital frames for Mother’s Day for JD’s grandmothers and I have to admit I was a little jealous, I had secretly wanted one for myself for some time now, but they only had two available (at an amazingly low price). I was so busy at work today that I didn't even get a chance to check my emails until I was clocked out and ready to leave and when I did I was so excited to find out that Wendy from Whimsy & Wise Events featured JD's 1st Birthday Carnival on her blog.
