Our Entryway

I finally had a chance to take a few pictures of our entryway, especially since the lighting in our living room was perfect this weekend! I'm really enjoying making inspiration boards and seeing the final outcome makes the whole process very satisfying. Here is our newly decorated entryway; I still haven't added the frames I've purchased but hopefully I'll get to them soon. If you like the inspiration boards stay tuned I have a few more projects on the way; including JD's Robot Room and Hubby's Home Office!

You can see our Entryway Inspiration Board here.

Inspiration Board: Entryway

I can’t wait for our entryway table to arrive; I have everything planned out and have actually purchased almost all of the pieces shown on my Entryway Inspiration Board below. Most of my purchases are from HomeGoods, not only because I love HG but because I received a few gift cards for my birthday and Christmas. I’m really enjoying making these inspiration boards and hubby is glad that now he actually has a visual of all the ideas I keep talking about!
1. Large Espresso Mirror from HomeGoods
2. Owl Piggy Bank from Urban Outfitters
3. Teal Ceramic Lamp from HomeGoods
4. Hall Table by Coaster Furniture from Henderson Furniture
5. Potted Plant in a Teal Vase (I’m still looking for this one)
6. Silver Bead Frame Set from HomeGoods
7. White Decorative Bookends from HomeGoods

Inspiration Board: Bathroom

2011 is only a day away and my list of things to do in the new year is so long that I actually have a folder instead of a list! Half of my things-to-do folder thankfully includes the help of my hubby (he has his own folder too), who has taken on being a new homeowner with complete gusto; he's fixing, landscaping and building things on a daily basis, but one of the projects I have taken on all by myself is the bathroom. Our one and only bathroom is “nice”, well if you think bamboo blinds as wall paper is nice (we don't) and our vanity is so big that you can actually brush your teeth over the sink while standing in the shower (there is only a ½ inch space between the tub and vanity). I've started putting together all my ideas for our bathroom and here is my very first attempt at an Inspiration Board!
